The Inspiration

As individuals are constantly exposed to different cultures and ideas that often clash with cultures and values that we are raised with. Oftentimes we find ourselves in situations in which we feel as if we cannot speak our minds because of pending backlash or someone questioning a person’s loyalty to culture or intelligence. We are also becoming a generation of demanded identity and image. The black diaspora is becoming more and more connected every day through technology, friendships, ancestry DNA research, travel, and education. Nubian Incognito provides a platform for everyone to have a voice.

The Mindset
Open-mindedness is a quality that one gains through exposure and understanding of other people. Being open-minded is the will to learn and understand other people. Nubian Incognito approaches culture with an open mind and expects others to learn to do the same

The Goal
Although we are becoming a generation less tolerant of extreme prejudice. We are also becoming a generation that is intolerant to people who do not think the same way that we do. Nubian Incognito's purpose is to provide a safe space for people to say things that they may not be honest about because they don't want to be attached to a certain belief. Our end goal is to spread understanding of individuals of different backgrounds, to bring increased togetherness and tolerance.

The vision behind Nubian Incognito is not to promote a singular individual, therefore we ask “Incognitos”, aka you to focus on the mission and message not the people or faces behind it. The Vision
Nubian Incognito is for everyone and is everyone. Nubian Incognito does have an individual identity. Nubian Incognito is a platform that serves the intentional purpose of bridging the gap of black culture globally.

The Revolution
However we can become the revolution of well-diverse individuals through learning other cultures through fashion, music, understanding, education, the drive to experience something new. We can become a part of a revolution that empowers us. We can become a person who supports small and large businesses run by minorities. Minorities all over the world, that is the mission of Nubian Incognito. The revolution does not have a face.

Bridging The Gap

Nubian Incognito believes that “bridging the gap” can happen through cross-cultural conversations and experiences. Music being a form of art that can truly bridge the gap of all minority cultures in the world, check out our multicultural playlists. We also create merchandise for people all over the world to connect to their “roots.” Our shows, podcasts, and playlist strive to be as diverse as possible by having contributors and guests from various countries and backgrounds.
